The Annual General Meeting of the Russian CFA society

In February 2011, the Annual General Meeting of CFA Association (Russia) elected the new Board of Directors for the year 2011. This year, several dozen members of the Association participated in the election - this is the highest voters turnout since the inception of the Association in 2004.

We would like to thank all Association members, who have participated in the vote at this year's AGM. Support from our members is the main driving force for the expansion of CFA Russia. This time, the AGM of CFA Association (Russia) was attended by Emily Dunbar, Director for Society Relations of the CFA Institute, EMEA Region, and Steve Wellard - Marketing & Communications Director of the CFA Institute for the EMEA region. The AGM was opened with a welcoming word from Richard Hainsworth, President of CFA Association (Russia), and Vladimir Tutkevich, CEO of the Association, who presented the Annual Activity report of the Association. Anton Efremov, Board member and Treasurer of the Society, presented a brief summary of the financial standing of the Association.

Emily Dunbar and Steve Wellard presented the CFA Institute’s outlook for the upcoming year, and described CFAI's procedures and pracices of working with local CFA Societies like the one in Russia.

According to the Charter of CFA Association (Russia), nine members of the CFA Association are elected as board members of CFA Russia each year. Please welcome CFA Association (Russia) Board of Directors for the year 2011:
