On February 7, 2011, CFA Association (Russia) launched the new series of webinars. The first webinar of the year, «Getting Started With CFA in Russia», was prepared for all CFA candidates in Russia, who are about to undertake their CFA studies. 

The agenda of the webinar included the following topics of discussion:

• CFA Charter - its value to the CFA Charterholder
• CFA Program - Curriculum and Exam Format
• Preparing for the Exam - Comparing Study Approaches
• Candidate Resources - Reviewing Course Providers
• What is available from the CFA Russia Society
• Beyond the Charter - CFA Institute
• What to Expect from the CFA Association (Russia)

The event was led by Vladimir Tutkevich, Executive Director of the CFA Association (Russia) and Edward Bace, CFA, CFA Institute Head of Education for EMEA Region. During the live broadcast, all participants had the opportunity to question the presentation hosts.

The webinar was delivered in the form of a live video broadcast. Participants could connect to the broadcast at any time, initiated live chats, left numerous comments and argued with other users.
