During 2019 CFA Association Russia recorded the entire curriculum of the CFA Level 1 Exam and put it on the society’s online learning platform.

The course has all 19 study sessions and a full financial calculator tutorial. The total length of the course is around 60 hours of educational videos in the Russian language.

The association would like to thank everyone involved as instructors, Sergey Kopylov, CFA, Alina Kosunova, CFA, Vladimir Nikulin, CFA, Oleg Shenker, CFA, Mark Chinchenko, CFA, and Khachatur Avalian, CFA. All the instructors are members of CFA Russia who volunteered their time, expertise and resources to help make the course. CFA Russia is also grateful to EY Academy of Business and the online school SF Education for contributing the time of their instructors – Mark, Khachatur and Vladimir, respectively.

For a long time, English has been one of the major obstacles for enrollment to the CFA exam. With the launch of its new course, CFA Russia hopes to increase a number of potential candidates registering for the Level 1 exam in the future. Although everyone is expected to know English to pass the CFA exam, being able to learn some of the finer details of the curriculum in one’s own native tongue is always an advantage.
